Tommee Tippees AU site was originally built on an Adobe platform which made it very hard for them to update and amend without a lot of complex coding. We, at gene, were tasked to migrate them onto a Magento 2 platform whilst improving the UX, especially around the checkout area.
As the lead creative, I wanted to make sure that not only were the best UX practices applied but also improve certain parts of the UI too. We were very reactive to the Hotjar finding and made sure to stay true to the brand every step of the way. I took a mobile-first approach, created more opportunities to upsell and cross-sell, a quicker checkout experience, whilst maintaining a great relationship with all the developers involved.
